Exams Over 2009

Why does time pass by so quickly. It's just like the year 2009 just started and now exams are over for me.

Today was the last day for me as an afternoon session student. Others are still having exams, yes they are JEALOUS of me *heehee* since I already had my exam replacements for Tuesday till Friday.

Air tickets are confirmed! I wonder why the others can be so happy about going to KL, while I worry about our presentation. That is why I think I'm not very optimistic, in response to Sonia's post on Facebook:

I answered ''A Sunflower! 'Cos she's always so optimistic and happy. :D''

Haha sometimes what people think about me isn't what I THOUGHT I was.

But I hope I'll have fun at KL. I'm not good at singing, and at the previous Maxis Cyberkids camp we had to sing the theme song. I don't really wanna sing but if you don't see they give you that why-are-you-not-singing look.

I'm also not the kind of sporty, love to have EXTREME fun person, and they asked us to do the Chicken Dance. Blah! Not really my thing.

I don't understand WHY we are NOT allowed to wear jeans at the camp. Too tight? I don't know.

We're also not allowed to wear short pants. Knee length also cannot I think. Only long pants allowed.

And because of that, I'm only left with TWO long pants. Luckily the camp is not 5 days long.

Photo-sharing moment. Pictures taken at Friendship Park and stuffs at home and Meow.

Land Of Hornbills
I know I'm not supposed to take a picture of the sun without a polarizer but I can't control myself!

Orange Flower
It's edible. Something made of sugar.

Why is the photo resolution so bad after uploaded? I think if you click to Full Size it's back to normal.

Mum's Portrait
She was marking students' papers.

Mum's Specs

Silhouette of the Rubber
My mum confiscated it from her student. I asked her why she confiscated it but I forgot whether she answered or not. The student probably was shaping the eraser while my mum was teaching or something?

Welcome

I hope that tomorrow we'll get things all SET and prepared for our presentation. Bye bye!

*Boing*, she falls off the bag.

I was studying Maths, and the cat was sleeping.

When I turned around to check on her,..

*BOING*

Haha she is sooo funny.

Nope, she isn't back, this is just an old photo.
I already washed her food container and her water container liao, assuming she won't come back.

But we still leave it outside the house, just in case she comes back.

Tepi! Tepi! Tepi HMPH!

Situation: In the car. -traffic light goes green-

Police siren: *TOING TOING TOING*
Police (with a clip-on mic) : Tepi! Tepi! Tepi sikit!

I thought got what ambulance or what.

The cars go tepi, of course. We are considerate people.

Then I saw a posh car -vrooooooooooom-
A man sitting at the backseat looking out the window.

-vroooooooom passes through the empty lane-

@.@ My first response was:
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I thought got ambulance, but it was merely a man, probably some Datuk passing by.

By what right do they have, to have police going in front of them, asking people to go TEPI TEPI?

Even if you're a Datuk or Dato or Datin or Tok Janggut, you should be waiting on the lane too what.

Maybe you say you're on a rush to the airport.

If we are on a rush to the airport, we also can't ask people to go TEPI TEPI TEPI oi.

*sigh* Welcome to Malaysia. This is 1Malaysia.

My dad says, this situation only happens in Malaysia. Bla bla bla.

Life's like that. But I believe God put us in Malaysia for a purpose.

Meow is officially gone. I dunno whether:
1. She went back home.
2. Her owner found her.
3. She is dead.

I'm only considering 1 and 2 as the possibilities though.

Her owner is probably our Iban neighbour who lives behind our house. We're not that close however. They probably saw me cuddling Meow and decided to lock her up.
---------------------------------------------------------------
I had exam replacement for 10th till 13th. So I only have 1 day of exam left, earlier than others. On Monday I'll be having BC 1, Science 2, and BI 1.

Then I'll be flying off to Kuala Mud for Maxis Cyberkids National Challenge.

How good if it was called Cyberteens and not...Cyberkids.

God Bless everyone. =] Have you smiled today? Haha random question.

Okay, if you haven't smiled today, smile now.

Buzz Buzz Buzz

The titles means Spelling Bee. XD

I just came back from Pustaka State Library for Can You Spell It competition. Got 5th. I saw HANNAH ! She got 4th. Congratulations HANNAH! Though I don't think you read my blog haha.

Satisfied liao lah.

Some of the words other people got I also dunno how to spell. But a lot of the teachers think it's very unfair. Cause' the judges choose words for every participant and don't automatically choose the next then the next word on their list.

The words I got were Disguise, Eminent, Genuflect (I spelt Geneuflect),Conscience, Miscellaneous, Chauffeur (I spelt Chaffeur).

In every round they eliminate those who spell the word wrongly (one round one word). So if you
coincidently get a hard word and another person got a word YOU know how to spell, YOU'RE still OUT. Quite unfair one lah.

But the winners were really good at spelling lah.

THE WEIRD THING IS
The judge pronounced the word WRINKLE as WINKLE
The judge pronounced the word PICTURESQUE as PICTURES

A girl who got the "winkle" still got it correct after listening to the definition.
The other one even though the definition will make you able to know it's picturesque but she still spelt it "pictures".

During the finale (two girls left), the judge also gave scientific words like a "paraphivillea" or something to a Teresian girl Natalia :), Karen's friend. She didn't spell it correctly though. WHO CAN SPELL THAT!?

Still, thank God. He's given me lots of opportunities and blessings throughout these years. :)
